The events in Ukraine greatly complicated the work of the OSCE Minsk Group, said Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan at a meeting of the National Assembly during the government hour on March 23.
As the minister noted, the co-chairing countries themselves, as well as other states, still believe that the Karabakh settlement should be sought at the negotiations organized within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing.
“Based on certain signals coming from the co-chairing countries and other states, I want to confirm that the international community continues to see the settlement of the conflict as part of the negotiation process under the auspices of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship,” Mirzoyan said.
According to him, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working to organize a new discussion within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmanship, including on the proposals of Yerevan and Baku.
