The UK has frozen the assets of three Russian airlines, preventing them from selling seats at UK airports worth up to £50 million, AP reports.

The sanctions prevent state-owned Aeroflot, Rossiya and Ural Airlines from transferring valuable landing rights that are not used due to an earlier ban on Russian aircraft flying to the UK.
