Ukraine loses 60 to 100 soldiers every day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview with Newsmax.

"The situation in the east [of Ukraine] is very difficult. Every day we lose 60 to 100 soldiers and about 500 wounded in combat," Zelenskyy said.

He also told Newsmax that Russia is "blocking grain shipments in the Black Sea."

"Russia is currently blocking 22.5 million tons of grain," Zelenskyy said. "We need weapons with a range of up to 120-140 kilometers in order to block this area with access to the sea."
