Kiev's sanctions against Russia's leadership, imposed on Thursday by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, are not worthy of any reciprocal step from Moscow, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters on Friday, TASS reported.

"I don't think this is worthy of any specific step on our part," he said, responding to a request to comment on the Ukrainian sanctions," he said.

Zelenskyy's decree imposed indefinite sanctions on Russian President Vladimir Putin, his press secretary Dmitry Peskov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and almost all members of the Russian government, including Sergey Lavrov. A total of 35 people were sanctioned.
