At its Cabinet meeting Thursday, the government of Armenia decided to establish a visa-free regime for Ecuadorian citizens.

The explanation of this decision states that the lifting of the Armenia-Ecuador visa regime is conditioned by the steps being taken to develop and strengthen Armenia’s cooperation Ecuador. Also, this decision reciprocates Ecuador's earlier decision to lift the visa regime for Armenian citizens.

The aforesaid decision will enable Ecuadorian nationals to visit and stay in Armenia for a maximum of 180 days a year, exempting them from the requirement to obtain an entry visa to Armenia.
