Many European companies are imposing sanctions on Russia, and the Dutch APM Terminals Poti, as a major shipping company, will also impose sanctions. The Minister of Economy of Armenia, Vahan Kerobyan, told this to a press briefing Thursday.

He explained with the aforementioned the delays in the start of Armenia’s cargo ship transportation to Russia via Georgia.

"Now we [i.e., Armenia] are conducting negotiations so that sanctions will not be applied to our cargo ships; there is no such right. Everything is ready, all that remains is to get the last permission," the minister added.

And in response to the remark that this could be another "bubble," Kerobyan expressed the Armenian government's determination to "show through action the results of its activities."

The Armenian authorities had announced that on June 15, cargo ship communication will be launched between Armenia and Russia via the Poti seaport of Georgia. To note, the APM Terminals Poti is the operator of this port.
