Armenian Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan, who is on a working visit to Minsk to participate in the 32nd session of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the Commonwealth of Independent States, met with his Kazakh counterpart Berik Asylov.

Davtyan praised the close cooperation between the Prosecutor General's Offices of Armenia and Kazakhstan, particularly with regard to mutual legal assistance, as evidenced by the numerous requests for legal assistance in criminal cases, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

In his turn, Asylov said that in terms of interstate cooperation the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia is a reliable partner for them. He expressed confidence that in the near future the bilateral ties will become closer and the effectiveness of partnership will increase.

During the meeting, they discussed possible new directions for the development of relations, based on the priorities of the prosecutor's offices of the two countries, the more effective use of the prosecutor's offices potential in the joint struggle against crime, exchange of experience and information at the regional and global levels.
