Downpours hit the north of Turkey, roads were washed out, the authorities announced the highest, red danger code, TRT Haber reported.

In Kastamonu, where a red warning code was issued, rivers and streams began to overflow. Citizens were warned that the stream passing through the district center of Inebolu had reached the spill point. The Kastamonu-Inebolu highway was closed to traffic due to the collapse.

Due to the flooding of the Söke stream, which flows through the center of the Inebolu Kastamonu district, security measures have been increased there.
