The United States will soon announce that it has purchased medium and long-range missile defense systems for Ukraine from CNN's White House.
According to him, the Joe Biden administration may also announce plans to supply other types of military assistance, including ammunition and counter-battery radars.
The US President has previously said that Washington plans to send more advanced missile systems and ammunition to Kyiv.
As CNN recalls, Ukraine has previously requested from the United States mobile anti-aircraft missile systems NASAMS. The channel's source did not specify whether these particular weapons would be included in the new military aid package.
In May, the United States approved $40 billion in military assistance to Ukraine. Last week, the Joe Biden administration announced a new $450 million package that included, among other things, the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system.
