A small helicopter crashed in the Stavropol region of Russia, the emergency service told Interfax.

"The Mi-2 helicopter crashed in the area of the farm in Pregornoye region," the interlocutor of the agency said.

After the accident, the helicopter caught fire.

Firefighting is underway.

According to preliminary data, the flight of this helicopter may not be registered.

The administration of Pregornoye region told Interfax that the hard emergency landing of the Mi-2 was supposedly due to bad weather conditions.

"There are no injured, casualties," added the source of the aforesaid administration.

He also noted that it is not yet known how many people were in the helicopter.

The rescuers also informed that, according to preliminary information, there were no casualties or injuries.
