Each and every casualty is a pain for us, especially in our friendly countries. Boris Chernyshov, Deputy Chairman of the  State Duma of the Russian Federation (RF), said this during a videoconference—and commenting on Azerbaijan's latest military aggression against Armenia.

"Today, everything possible is being done on the platforms of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Security Council, the CSTO, and all [other] organizations.

The leadership of our countries is in full cooperation. As far as I know, all the necessary steps are being launched, diplomatic channels have been used. So, we hope that the issue will be resolved in the near future, the shooting between Azerbaijan and Armenia will cease, and we will find the necessary solutions—thanks to the mediation of Russia, the RF leadership.

Each and every shooting, each and every act of violence is always very bad and sad; therefore, together with you we continue to follow the whole situation. The process of implementing all the necessary diplomatic channels is underway with great activeness," added the vice-speaker of the Russian State Duma.
