Police forces are obstructing the work of reporters at Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan since early Wednesday morning.

A little while ago, the special police forces dragged into custody the several parents—including women—of the fallen servicemen.

After that, the situation calmed down relatively, and several parents of the fallen servicemen remained at the Yerablur church section.

However, the situation became tense again, and the police suddenly started apprehending the fallen soldiers’ parents who had remained in that area.

Reporters and cameramen were also pushed away from the area, and the police prohibited them from video recording and taking photographs.

Numerous families of the fallen servicemen had come to Yerablur Military Pantheon from midnight and announced that they will not allow Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other members of the government to come to Yerablur on the occasion of the Independence Day anniversary of Armenia.
