Greek Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs Angelos Syrigos reflected—during a radio and television discussion on regional issues—on the recent invasion of Armenia by Azerbaijan.

"While Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was calling on the international community to ‘properly react to Azerbaijan's aggressive actions,’ Azerbaijan once again received the full support of Turkey.

Azerbaijan's war against Armenia is not on the front pages of newspapers. It is clear that the Azerbaijanis, with the help of the Turks, are attempting to attack and cut off the southern part of Armenia, joining to the Azerbaijani Nakhichevan—having the support of Turkey in this matter.

Turkey and Azerbaijan continue their aggression against Armenia.

Azerbaijanis are attacking Armenians, and at the same time it is said that 'Everything is developing well, we are moving towards a peace treaty.'

We do not see a clear reaction from the international community, as is the case with Ukraine, for example," Syrigos said.
