Kishan Dan Dewal, India's ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Armenia, said his colleagues and him witnessed the destruction. India's position on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border has been clear from the very beginning. He told NEWS.am he visited Gegharkunik province along with other ambassadors accredited to Armenia.

He got acquainted with the consequences of Azerbaijani aggression.

India's position, according to him, was voiced at an extraordinary meeting of the UN Security Council.

"There, our postpresident urged the aggressor to immediately cease hostilities and begin to observe the ceasefire. In general, at the meeting of the Security Council, the representative of India most sharply condemned the aggressor. Our position was unequivocal and very clear," the ambassador said.

The diplomat also stressed: India will do everything possible within the framework of international law and norms.

"I think I have answered your question. Armenia must be strong," Kishan Dan Deval stressed.
