In international law, the word "war" has been out of circulation since the 1970s. Edmon Marukyan, Ambassador-at-Large of Armenia and Chairman of the Bright Armenia Party, stated about this live on Facebook.

He explained that now there is a term "crime of aggression" in international law. According to him, this term means that the armed forces of a country attacks and occupies the sovereign territory of another country.

"This is called 'aggression' or 'combat operation.' The use of the word 'war' by high-ranking officials and the military is a matter of professionalism," Markuyan added.

Also, he called on people to stick to the analyses of professionals.
