A unit of Armenian peacekeepers is taking part in an international military exercise at the U.S. Infantry Unit Training Center near Hohenfels, Germany, which is a preparatory stage of the mission in Kosovo.

Col. Arsen Mangasaryan, commander of the Peacekeeping Brigade of the Ministry of Defense, visited the center to observe the exercises and met with the head of the planning and management of the exercises, Lt. Col. Thomas Fronhofer and the commander of the 76th Infantry Brigade of the US Air Force, Col. Chris Mabis.

During the meetings the American military noted the high level of training and discipline of the Armenian unit. An agreement was reached to expand the participation of Armenian peacekeepers in international military exercises.
