There is no question of any corridor that will pass through the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia. Hripsime Grigoryan, a member of the ruling majority "Civil Contract" Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, noted about this at Monday’s press briefing in the NA.

According to her, the term "corridor" cannot be used in any official format except in the context of Lachin (Berdzor). Thus, as the MP noted, the territorial integrity of Armenia is not subject to negotiation.

"Therefore, no matter what Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev or any other official person says about it, everyone should well understand and keep in mind that such statements and thoughts can only be interpreted as an original expression of some desire or aspiration. There is no way they can find a place in the official negotiation process," Grigoryan assured.

According to the Armenian MP, the international community has clearly and unambiguously made it understood that the territorial integrity of Armenia is a "red line" not only for Yerevan, but for itself.
