Revenue from electricity exports from Armenia registered a significant increase.

Revenue from electricity exports in the first 8 months of 2022 exceeded $62 million.

This figure for January-July of last year was $31.6 million.

It turns out that revenues from electricity exports in the first 8 months of 2022 almost doubled compared to the same period last year.

Electricity production in January-August 2022 increased by 16.6% compared to the same period last year.

In 2021, the volume of electricity production decreased by 0.6%, while exports decreased by a quarter. At the same time, the volume of electricity imports to Armenia increased by 15% last year.
