Donald Trump's eldest daughter Ivanka said she will no longer be involved in U.S. political life or play a role in her father's presidential campaign in 2024, the New York Post reports.

"I love my father very much. This time around, I am choosing to prioritize my young children and the private life we are creating as a family. I do not plan to be involved in politics," Ivanka Trump, 41, said in a statement.

She said she will always support her father outside the "political arena." "I am grateful to have had the honor of serving the American people and will always be proud of many of our administration’s accomplishments,” Donald Trump's daughter said.

According to sources, Donald Trump tried to persuade Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner to join him in the presidential race and form a united family front at his daughter Tiffany's wedding last weekend.
