Photos and specifications of the electric crossover Omoda have been revealed. Leaked occurred shortly before the premiere of the novelty, scheduled for 2023. Design of a future battery model Omoda 5 EV, which can get to the Russian market, showed a closed presentation, there also voiced details about the power plant, so that information can be considered official. On slides Omoda 5 EV shown with the original design of the front end, and here the rear is the same as that familiar to Russians C5 with an internal combustion engine under the hood.

204 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque, that is, the characteristics are comparable to the gasoline unit of 2.0 liters. Chinese Cars portal suggests that the electric motor for the model could be borrowed from the Chery eQ5 Big Ant, but the Big Ant has a torque of 295 Nm.

Battery capacity during the presentation was not announced, but range - 550 kilometers. From a place up to 100 kilometers per hour electric car will disperse in 7.5 seconds. For comparison, the Omoda C5 presented in the Russian market gains the first "hundred" in 9.9 seconds.

As for the launch of an electric crossover Omoda, it will have to wait: the model will be put into production only in the fourth quarter of this year.
