An accessory to a murder of 19-year-old Armenian Mike Yepremyan was arrested on Thursday in Los Angeles.

Earlier the alleged killer and the girl involved in the case pleaded not guilty. The authorities arrested girl’s brother Hovik Dzhuryan, saying he was an accessory to the crime, The Los Angeles Times reported.

Hovik Dzhuryan, 19, was taken into custody, he is accused of organizing the fatal parking lot meeting during which Yepremyan was killed.

Dzhuryan and his sister, Kat Vardanian, have both pleaded not guilty to conspiracy charges, the newspaper writes.

Mike Yepremyan was murdered in November 2009 after a scuffle in a North Hollywood parking lot. The Los Angeles Police Department was investigating the case.

After an 18 month investigation, a primary suspect was identified and located in Puerto Rico. Zareh Manjikian, was captured by U.S. Marshals in May 2011, and placed in Puerto Rican custody.

Zareh Manjikian was previously arrested in Puerto Rico but local judges released him after he posted a bail.

The murder suspect was attempting to turn himself in, but was arrested before he could.
