Armenia has sent a second batch of humanitarian aid to Turkey, informed Armenian foreign ministry press secretary Vahan Hunanyan.

“Armenia continues sending humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected regions. Late last night, trucks loaded with the second batch of humanitarian aid crossed the Armenian-Turkish border through the Margara bridge,” Hunanyan wrote on Twitter.

Armenia sent the first batch of humanitarian aid to Turkey on February 11. Serdar Kilic, the representative of Turkey in the negotiations with Armenia, had stated that Armenia had sent 100 tons of aid to Adiyaman city.

And search and rescue teams from Armenia had left for quake-ravaged Turkey and Syria on February 8.
