The earthquake with magnitude 3.9 occurred on the territory of Uzbekistan, its epicenter was in Galliaaral district of Dzhizak region, reported the Seismo-Prognostic Monitoring Center of Uzbekistan under the republic's Emergency Ministry on Friday.

"On February 24, at 16:12 local time, there was an earthquake with magnitude 3.9 in Uzbekistan. Its epicenter was in Gallyaaral district of Jizzak region. Earthquake coordinates: 39.97 degrees north latitude; 67.74 degrees east longitude. The depth is 10 km. Distance from epicenter to Tashkent is 190 km to south-west direction," the report says.

According to the Center, the earthquake was felt only in Jizzak oblast. There are no reports on victims and destructions.
