Canada will provide an aid package of more than 32 million Canadian dollars ($23.5 million) to support Ukraine, the country's Foreign Affairs Ministry said.

Melanie Joly, Minister of Foreign Affairs, today announced a $32 million Canadian contribution to support further strengthening the security and stabilization of Ukraine, the Canadian government said in a statement on its website.

As noted, the amount includes 7.5 million Canadian dollars for mine clearance, more than 13 million for accountability efforts, and more than 12 million for countering chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats.
