Geologist and scientist, a member of the Turkish Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Turkish National Committee of Engineering Geology Okan Tuysuz warned tourists about the danger of earthquakes in popular Turkish resorts, writes Haberturk.

According to the expert, a total of 45 provinces of the Republic are among the dangerous areas on the seismic fault line. So, popular among holidaymakers destinations, such as Izmir, Mugla, Antalya and Istanbul fell into the zone of risk of next earthquake.

It is noted that the exact location of most of the faults is unknown, and therefore it is difficult to predict the specific places that are in the greatest danger.
