Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced, after talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, that Turkey considers it necessary to urgently sign a peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, TASS reported.

"We discussed the issues of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We are in favor of urgently signing a peace treaty between the two countries. We will continue consultations on this matter, including with Russia," said the Turkish FM.
