An earthquake above magnitude 4 was recorded in the Turkish province of Adana, in the south of the country. This was stated by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD).

“A 4.2 magnitude earthquake occurred around 12.37 in the Saimbeyli district of Adana Province,” AFAD said.

The source of the natural disaster lay at the depth of 7 km.

No information has been provided on the casualties and destruction.
