Five people were killed as a result of an explosion at a missile factory in Ankara, RIA Novosti reports, citing the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey.

“An explosion occurred at the MKE Rocket and Explosives Factory in the Elmadag district of Ankara. As a result of the explosion, five of our workers have been martyred,” the Ministry said.

An investigation is underway.
