Rafael Grossi, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), announced his visit to Ukraine. He plans to meet with President Volodymyr Zelenski and inspect the Zaporizhzhya NPP there.

"Went to Ukraine, where I will meet with President Zelensky," he wrote on Twitter.

Grossi also plans to rotate the IAEA expert team and present a program of assistance after the destruction of the Kakhovska HPP dam. Earlier, he stressed that the IAEA would strengthen its presence at the plant and assess the situation against the five safety principles that were proposed to the UN Security Council.
