A drone flying towards Moscow was destroyed by air defense forces in Lyuberetsky District near Moscow Monday morning, RIA Novosti reports, citing Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.
"According to the preliminary data, there are no affected or damage. Emergency services are working at the scene," Sobyanin added.
Sometime thereafter, the Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed this information, and noted that this terrorist attempt was prevented at 4:30am.
