Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan—together with US Ambassador Kristina Kvien, Deputy Chief of Staff for the US Army in Europe and Africa Command, Brigadier General Patrick Ellis, Commander of the US 10th Mountain Division, Major General Gregory Anderson, and foreign defense attachés and representatives accredited to Armenia—on Friday watched the Armenia-US joint military exercise "Eagle Partner 2023."

The invitees observed the active phase of this practical training being held at the "Zar" Training Center of the Peacekeeping Brigade of the Armenian Ministry of Defense (MoD), and within the framework of preparation for participation in international peacekeeping missions, the MoD of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Thereupon, the Armenian defense minister and the guests were introduced to the control center of this military training, and the re-equipped classrooms where plans are developed and decisions are made.

At the end of the visit, the commander of the Armenian peacekeeping brigade provided information on the engagement of the peacekeeping contingent of the Armenian Armed Forces in conducting peacekeeping missions in a number of countries, and emphasized that their collaboration with the peacekeepers of the US Army in those territories are at a high level.
