As of 17:00, 176,027 voters out of 824,250 took part in the elections to the Council of Elders of Yerevan (the capital's representative body), which is 21.36% of those with the right to vote, Member of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia Arusyak Tarchanyan said at a briefing on September 17.

Voter activity per administrative district of Yerevan:

Achapnyak - 17,261 voters or 20.79%

Avan - 9,373 voters or 24.01%

Arabkir - 22,334 voters or 23.62%

Davtashen - 7,949 voters or 23.74%

Erebuni – 16,212 voters or 18.17%

Kentron - 22,015 voters or 23.19%

Malatya-Sebastia  - 20,434 voters or 19.22%

Nor-Nork - 21,648 voters or 22.20%

Norq-Marash - 2,577 voters or 24.16%

Nubarashen - 1,494 voters or 18.52%

Shengavit - 21,945 voters or 19.81%

Kanaker-Zeytun - 12,785 voters 22.54%.

For comparison, in the previous capital elections, held on September 23, 2018 against the backdrop of euphoria from the “Velvet Revolution,” by 17:00 the turnout rate for the Yerevan Council of Elders elections was 34.72 percent.
