Aid is being collected in downtown Yerevan for forcibly displaced Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)residents.

According a representative of the "The World in Our Hands" organization, they mainly collect dry food that has a long shelf life, as well as warm clothes and hygiene items.

"We have been collecting for a week already; that is, we have a preparation base in our warehouse. And now, the addresses are being clarified, so that when the people of Artsakh come, we can provide them with help with our small contribution. Now we are working on having a database of addresses, so that we know who needs what, so that we decide how to organize the work.

"We see the love and care of our citizens; they do not pass by indifferently. They even give a little chocolate. All this is a very big thing; everyone's help, even if it is small, is very important.

"We are located at the Sayat Nova-Abovyan intersection," said one of the organizers of this aid being collected.
