Porsche held the world premiere of its third generation Panamera. So far, this car has been presented only as a five-door liftback, but its universal is on the way, reports Drom.ru.

The model is built on a new chassis with two-chamber air springs and suspension with 2-valve shock absorbers. The individual Porsche Active Suspension Management system automatically reacts to road conditions and driving style and, depending on this, continuously adjusts the damping force of each individual wheel; this suppresses vibrations and ensures a comfortable ride.

The appearance of the third generation Panamera maintains the typical proportions of its predecessors, but its style has become a little tougher.

The standard version of the model is equipped with an upgraded 2.9-liter turbocharged V6 gasoline engine that produces 348 horsepower (hp) and 500 Nm of torque. Compared to the previous model, the increase is +23 hp and +50 Nm. Drive - rear or all-wheel drive.

Four versions of the E-Hybrid will be offered. Weight: 2.2 tons.

The overall length, width and height of the Panamera 972 are 5052, 1938 and 1422 mm, respectively. Compared to the outgoing generation car, only the length has changed by 3 mm. The wheelbase remains the same at 2950 mm.

The new Panamera is already available to order in Western markets, but deliveries to customers will not begin before Spring 2024.

The previous generation Porsche Panamera 971 has been manufactured since 2016.
