There is a historic chance to achieve long-awaited peace in the South Caucasus. Josep Borrell, the European Union (EU) High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, noted this after his meeting with Jeyhun Bayramov, the foreign minister of Azerbaijan.  

“Good exchange with Jeyhun Bayramov on EU-Azerbaijan cooperation and the wider regional context. There is a historic chance to achieve long-awaited peace in the South Caucasus. The EU remains fully committed to supporting the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalisation process,” Borrell wrote on X, former Twitter.
