The law enforcement officers on Friday arrested Tigran Arzakantsyan, Chairman of the Strength of the Homeland party, at Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan. This was reported to the First Channel News by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

Arzakantsyan was submitted to the Investigative Committee.

Friday detained Gavar city resident and chairman of the Strength of the Homeland party, Tigran Arzakantsyan, 57, at the airport.

Arzakantsyan was a passenger of the Yerevan-Dubai flight, and 16 bullets of an unknown type of firearm were found in his carry-on bag.
