Preparatory work is underway for the opening of the Armenian Consulate General in Tabriz, Iran. The Armenian Foreign Ministry reported this in response to Sputnik Armenia's enquiry.

"We inform that preparatory works are underway. The Ministry will be properly informed about further changes," the Foreign Ministry said.
