The EU, for example, has recognized the sovereign territory of Armenia. During the negotiations on October 6, 2022, a map that accurately expressed the reality was placed on the table. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at his press conference today—and referring to the remark that Armenia accuses Russia and the CSTO of not showing Armenia's sovereign territory, and asked in that case which country showed Armenia’s territory.

"On May 14, 2023, a large map was hung in the negotiation room; moreover, the sovereign territory of Armenia was highlighted. This is also the reason why the EU has monitors in the territory of Armenia. That fact was recorded also in the quadrilateral statement of Granada," said Pashinyan.

And when asked when was the last time he had a discussion about the Armenian captives in Azerbaijan, the Armenian premier responded: “You'd be surprised, but this morning. With whom, I can't say, what I discussed, again I can't say. That is, I can say I discussed the matter of the return of the captives, the matter of the appropriateness and inappropriateness of certain steps in that direction. I discussed yesterday afternoon as well, and I can say the time: from 15:00 to 15:45; including the matter of our missing compatriots."
