The Georgian government has denied President Salome Zurabishvili a working visit to Lithuania, which she had planned to make from 10 to 12 April, Georgia Online reports.

The resolution on the refusal of Zurabishvili's visit was signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

"To refuse the President of Georgia in the proposal submitted by letter No. 2183 dated 27 March 2024, concerning a working visit to the city of Vilnius of the Republic of Lithuania from 10 to 12 April 2024," the resolution reads.

Conflicts regularly erupt between Georgia's ruling party and President Zurabishvili, who is in opposition to it.
