More than 50 rockets were fired from Lebanese territory towards Israel. Air-raid sirens sounded in northern Israel and Iron Dome air defense batteries repelled the shelling. The country's army said there were no casualties.

Lebanon's Hezbollah movement confirmed that dozens of rockets were fired at Israeli artillery positions.
The Israeli army said that about 40 rockets fired from Lebanon reached Israeli territory, some were intercepted by air defense systems or fell in desert terrain.

Earlier media reported that a possible Iranian attack against Israel is expected on 12 April. The attack may involve the use of more than 100 drones and dozens of missiles against military targets.
