Hraparak daily off Armenia writes as follows, in part: Our sources at the Tavush for the Homeland movement assure that the leader of the movement, Reverend [Archbishop] Bagrat [Galstanyan, Primate of the Diocese of Tavush of the Armenian Apostolic Church], does not suffer from the prime minister's disease and does not want to become the prime minister, even temporarily.

Before the consensus reached by the political arena about his candidacy [for PM], a number of names were discussed—moreover, both from the political arena and from the spiritual.

In particular, the names of Arman Tatoyan, Grigori Khachaturov, Shirak Diocese primate [Archbishop] Mikael Ajapahian and others [were discussed], but during the discussions no broad consensus was formed on any candidate, it was found that there were no disagreements only regarding the person of the reverend, so he had to agree to his nomination.
