YEREVAN. -  A magnitude 3 earthquake was recorded Wednesday, at 11:52 a.m. local time, on the Armenia-Turkey border, 6 kilometers south of Artashat city.    

The tremor’s hypocenter was 5 kilometers beneath the surface, and it measured magnitude 4 at the epicenter. 

The jolt was felt specifically in capital Yerevan and in Masis city, with a magnitude 3, and in Artashat, Ararat, and Vedi cities, with a magnitude 3-4, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
