YEREVAN. – The Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) Rector Koryun Atoyan and Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan signed a cooperation agreement on Friday. This document has launched the “Environmental Assessment of Economic Activity” specialized master’s degree program, ASUE informed Armenian News-NEWS.am

“The University’s respective chair and the given agency are jointly discussing and improving the curriculum, and the Ministry’s employees with corresponding knowhow are being included in the University’s faculty,” Rector Atoyan said.     

“We wish to place a foundation to a process which is truly required by our economy, and in regulating the ecological problems in our country,” Minister Aram Harutyunyan stated, in his turn, and added that Armenia’s environmental processes need the best specialists.  

Also, the Nature Protection Minister presented to the University the new publications of the red books of endangered animals and plants.
