YEREVAN. – Chief of Armenia’s Military Police Armen Sahakyan and head of Yerevan Garrison Ruben Nersisyan were dismissed from the office.

Nersisyan’s dismissal is conditioned by the fact that Arsen Grigoryan, a serviceman, was beaten recently in the Yerevan Garrison building by R. Nersisyan, G. Vopanyan and A. Avagyan, the source informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. The serviceman was transferred to the military unit and later on Sevan. While, according to the rumors, Sahakyan had serious problems with his employees and the atmosphere was very tense in the agency. Sahakyan was appointed in the office last December.
