YEREVAN. – There are no Armenians among victims of the airplane disaster in Tyumen, Russia, MFA Press Secretary Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

The UTair Airline Company’s ATR 72-type passenger aircraft, which was on a scheduled flight from Tyumen to Surgut, Russia, crashed, on Monday at 5:50 am, shortly after taking off from Tyumen Airport.  

At present, the rescuers report 17 casualties and 17 survivors.    

There were 43 people in the aircraft, which includes four crewmembers.
