Turkish imam Abdullah Antepli, at Duke University in the US, reacted harshly against Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah, the Chief Mufti of Saudi Arabia, who during an interview had stated there should not be two religions in the Arabian Peninsula, and all churches must be destroyed.

The Turkish imam criticized the Arab cleric, and noted that his statements made against the Christians run counter to Islam’s moral and ethical norms, Hurriyet daily of Turkey informs.

Abdullah Antepli called upon the region’s Christians to file lawsuits against the mufti, “in the Sharia and the civil courts alike.”

Also, the Turkish imam sent to Huffington Post his letter of critique against the Arab mufti.
