YEREVAN.- One of Armenian phone and internet operators Armentel company (trade mark Beeline) has informed corporate customers using landline telephone connection of hacking and making unauthorized telephone calls from the software operating based on Asterisk  system.

Break of the system allows attackers to generate calls to various destinations. As a result, customers are forced to pay the bills for calls they have not made, company’s press service told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The company encourages customers using the software based on Asterisk to make necessary adjustments in order to prevent unauthorized calls. The corresponding statement is posted on the company’s official website safe.beeline.am.
