YEREVAN.- Armenia’s Heritage Party ignored the Wednesday meeting of the single headquarters set to monitor election processes.

Earlier, head of Heritage party campaign headquarters Khachatur Kokobelyan said the party will be present at the meeting if leaders of the member parties will participate. It will be another proof of parties’ readiness to monitor elections, he added.

A statement to create a single headquarters to monitor election processes was earlier signed by the Prosperous Armenia Party (ruling coalition member), opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Heritage and Armenian National Congress (ANC).

Prior to the meeting media spread statement of Heritage vice-chairman Ruben Hakobyan who said the party withdraws from the headquarters.

However, representative of other forces said Heritage’s signature under a joint declaration remains in force.  It can continue its work in the headquarters if considers it expedient.
