YEREVAN. – Fantastic violations are revealed in voter lists, the coordinator of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Levon Zurabyan told at the Friday Session of the joint headquarter mentioning that they have revealed many violations in the lists which will be published soon.

According to Zurabyan, an anomalous number of violations were discovered in the voter lists connected with the number of voters registered on the same address.

“In many apartments ten people are registered. Besides, addresses of non-existing buildings were discovered. ANC candidate Avet Poghosyan, who is running in number 6 electoral district, where there are several such addresses, demanded that the Election Committee organizes a meeting with voters who are registered in those addresses. The members of the committee turned green when they heard the demand,” Levon Zurabyan announced.

Armenian National Congress (ANC) is an opposition bloc founded in 2008 after presidential elections. During the August 1, 2008, rally in Yerevan the first President of Armenia and ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan announced formation of the bloc. ANC comprises 18 parties and political forces.

ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
