Armenian National Congress’ next rally scheduled for May 8

YEREVAN.- The opposition Armenian National Congress is holding a traditional march in Yerevan downtown after the rally in Liberty Square.

Coordinator of ANC central office Levon Zurabyan said it would be “the final chord” of the election campaign.

The next rally is scheduled for May 8, the day after parliamentary elections.

The election campaign will be held till May 5 - the day prior to elections when campaigning is banned. The parliamentary elections will be held from 8 am to 8 pm on May 6, 2012.

ANC proportional list includes 119 names. It has also nominated MP candidates with the majority election system.
